This weekend live music venue, Alma Cafe, has two nights of musical immersion lined up for your auditory enjoyment featuring highly renowned local musicians. The shows are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at a cover charge of R160. There will be hearty home-cooked meals and delicious desserts available for purchase as well as a fully stocked bar and coffee station to take advantage of.

FINTRY are a unique sibling band consisting of Caroline, Julie and Jonny Blundell, together with the incredibly gifted violinist Rayelle Goodman. Acoustically driven (many original) songs with folk, blues, African, celtic and country influences, close harmonies, and beautiful intricate guitar picking.

Lionel Bastos, Ronan Skillen & Jono Tait. Three master musicians join forces to create a melting pot of influences, experiences and songs from all around the world.
Lionel Bastos is a multiple SAMA award nominee and SAMA award winner. In 2014 he composed the film score for a local film called “Konfetti” which won awards internationally and locally.
Ronan is inspired by global sounds and grooves from Mali to Memphis and Mumbai. His flair for improvisation began with the didgeridoo, and his later schooling in Indian classical music have shaped a wide palette of textural percussive sounds, incorporating tabla and a hybrid percussion kit. Ronan was co-creator in the music department of the Oscar nominated film ‘My Octopus Teacher’ as well as countless features in Netflix series and other movie soundtracks.
Jono Tait is the songwriter and lead vocalist behind the award-winning band, Hatchetman. Jono has featured on countless theatre productions, tribute shows and musical collaborations. He is a well rounded and incredibly versatile musician.
