On 13 and 14 July, the Western Cape will host its annual weekend extravaganza of gastronomic delights, exquisite wines, and everything French.
The Franschhoek Wine Valley, known for its culinary prowess and world-class wines, will once again embrace its rich French culture.
However, this annual celebration has much more to offer than just culinary indulgence. Visitors can visit the galleries, boutiques, crafts shops, and food emporiums dressed to the nines in French attire, or stroll down the charming aisles and weave in and out of the town’s hidden little alcoves.

The entertainment options include a French Film Festival in Le Quartier’s Screening Room, boules, a chefs and waiters race, street football, a barrel-rolling contest and fly-fishing competitions. Guests can dance to the tunes of musicians while shopping at market stalls and indulging in the wine, food, and atmosphere.
There is also a wide range of children’s activities that are sure to keep the kids entertained for hours.
To accommodate the large crowds, this year’s event will take place on the Franschhoek High School rugby pitch.
