As we usher in the new season, we also welcome back the Southern right whales as they visit this part of the world. Celebrating its 29th year, the Hermanus Whale Festival this year is a must not miss.
It will be from 30 September to 2 October, making it a fun-packed weekend affair.

Catch the cool breeze of the coast while you catch a glimpse of these gorgeous sea mammals that will be out to play during the season – the reason why the festival has drawn large crowds every year – about 130 000.

The festival will have craft beer, gin, organic drinks, coffee and many other refreshments available.
Food lovers will enjoy various food stalls serving savoury and sweet treats for all age groups. bakers and gardeners will not be out staged.
Art, fashion, toy, and vehicle (car show) enthusiasts will have an array of displays to visit, shop and enjoy.
