As the weekend approaches, bookworms and literature enthusiasts are in for a treat in Cape Town. This weekend, the Cape Town Central Library is hosting a special event for members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies.
The CTL (Cape Town Lesbians) Book Club has organised an event for attendees to discuss their favourite queer literature and exchange ideas.
Coffee and refreshments will be provided, making it the perfect opportunity to make new connections and expand your reading list.

If you haven’t registered as a library member yet, no worries! You can do so on the spot and explore the library’s wonderful queer book selection with the rest of the group.
CTL invites people to bring along spare queer books that you’re open to exchanging and other unwanted books that can also be donated to the library for others to enjoy.
This is an inclusive event for all sapphics, women who love women (including bisexuals and pansexuals), and all trans and gender non-binary folks. Don’t worry if you don’t know anyone; it’s the perfect space to make new friends.
