Cat Heaven’s Annual Cat Walk

Cat Heaven Rescue Cat Café and Gift Shop in Somerset West are hosting their annual “CAT WALK” in conjunction with Virgin Active to raise awareness of abandoned and abused animals in shelters.

The walk will begin at Virgin Active Waterstone at the meeting point below the stairs. Host Elroy Stuber from Virgin Active will guide walkers to their final destination, Cat Heaven! Local are encouraged to dress up with a touch of feline inspiration. A total distance of 3.2km will be walked.

Upon arrival at the cat cafe entrance is charged at R20 for both adults and children. Enjoy coffee, tea, soft drinks, cakes, cookies, biltong, popcorn and Pedal Pops  on sale as well as the purrfect company of the 20 adorable resident rescue kitties and a browse in the paw-some cat-inspired gift shop.

There will be an Art Auction at 11.30am – artist Elroy Stuber has kindly donated two paintings to be auctioned – and Cosplay characters will be joining our awareness.

Age Restriction: 10 Years (babies in strollers allowed and travel free)

Cat Heaven Rescue Cat Café is a non- profit organisation. All funds generated by the “CAT WALK” and at the Café go towards the feeding and maintenance of the health and welfare of the resident cats, and their environment. Any excess funds are donated to animal charities.
