The organisers of the popular Century City Night Market are expanding the size of the venue to comfortably accommodate all the visitors.
This comes after a bursting and positive turn out at the May 2022 event, which was the first event after two years of the global pandemic. The next events is set to take place at the Intaka Island Education Centre at Century City in its newly-expanded form that will give visitors more space to enjoy the ambiance and as well as more delicious food stalls to choose from.
Organisers said they are planning to use the space behind the trains with a variety of food trucks, adding more seating options and stand up cocktail tables. This month visitors are promised a treat with a double bill of musical entertainment by Jamie Jupiter and Nick Turner with original music as the Night Market’s theme song, and the live show starting at 4pm.
“Visitors will be welcomed with warm scents, draft beer, bubbles, cider, red wine, gluhwein and live music while they explore their way around a feast delicious comfort food by Cape Town’s hottest food vendors,” they said.
Time: 4pm – 9pm
Location: Intaka Island Eco-Centre, Park Lane in Century City. There is ample and secure parking.
