De Krans Wine Cellar in Calitzdorp is hosting is annual Blossom Festival on August 31 to celebrate the new year for the fruit and wine industry.
The Blossom festival offers a variety of activities celebrating the beauty of the land and its harvests. First up, a fun walk/fun run through the orchards and vineyards, fetching a R20 entrance fee or donation.
Fun run entries and donations will go towards Friends of Calitzdorp Animals charity, supporting a worthy cause. Live music from the Matt Hatters as well as wine tasting will commence at 11am. Last 20 different award winning wines. Bistro and deli meals (advance booking necessary for bistro) will also be on offer.
