With an exciting musical line-up in the heart of Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, the Cradle to the Cape Concert on 8 December will be an outdoor experience to remember.
Presented by Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts, in collaboration with the NIROX Foundation, the festival will be headlined by Zolani Mahola of Freshlyground fame and will also feature local acts such as Arno Carstens, Albert Frost, Tubatsi Moloi and many more.
The event will highlight a ‘cross-country collaboration’ by uniting the cultural and natural beauty of the Cradle of Humankind with the slopes of Table Mountain, according to the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI).
Attendees of the event are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, blankets, drinks and sun hats to fully experience the joyful atmosphere.
Moyo Restaurant Kirstenbosch will have festival food options and non-alcoholic beverages available for sale at the event.
Gates will open at 4pm, with the festival running until 8pm.
The concert is a non-smoking event, as there are no smoking areas.
Ticket prices range from R235 – R310, with entrance being free for attendees aged five years and under.
