With so much to experience at the DHL Stadium before the main game, here’s everything you need to know beforehand:
Gates open at 12:30pm with the Springbok Women facing Barbarians RFC at 1:30pm. If you can’t make it early enough, aim to be inside the stadium no later than 3:30pm and in your seats by 4:40pm to make the most of the pre-match entertainment, live performances, anthems and the iconic haka before the main game kicks off at 5pm.
Think Cape Town Carnival performers, DJs and artists, branded giveaways, Springbok merch and interactive games for the whole family.
Only digital tickets from Ticketmaster will be accepted – no paper or PDF tickets, so be sure to have your tickets ready on your phone before arriving.
There’s no parking at the venue or in the precinct without a permit, so use park-and-ride options at UCT, Century City and the Civic Centre, or take advantage of the free MyCiTi shuttles for ticket holders.
PRASA Western Cape will also be running an extended service on Saturday, with trains travelling every 30 to 40 minutes from every station to Cape Town station.

Road closures will be in effect around the stadium from 6am to 10:30pm, so plan ahead.

Those making use of e-hailing services are advised that these will be restricted near the venue, with a designated drop-off area at P13, Greenpoint. Be prepared, however, for long delays due to expected traffic congestion. Alternatively, it is recommended to be dropped off and collected in the CBD and then use the MyCiTi shuttle or Fan Walk.
Be sure to bring along any unused boots, balls, kits and equipment as SA Rugby will be donating unused gear for refurbishment and redistribution to underprivileged communities at designated drop-off points as well as on entry to the stadium.
Each item donated gets you a unique number to be entered into a lucky draw to stand a chance of winning a rugby jersey signed by the SA Rugby Legends.
Arrive early, enjoy the festivities and don’t miss a moment of this epic clash.
