Start of your day with some fun at winter wonderland

This is perfect for the kids as well as the whole family. Make the most of winter and this rainy weekend at Snow World at Waterworld Strand. This snow park offers combinations of snow and ice activities for all ages, from ice slides, a snow play area, snow ramps and there are even animals from the Ice Age.

Enjoy some wine and music

Traditional cheese-and-wine pairings are way too outdated for Black Elephant Vintners . They offer something far more rebellious: join for a sparkling-wine or wine tasting, pop on some headphones and prepare to be blown into a land of heightened senses at this punk-rock cellar.
This novel approach to enhance the experience of the wine tasting process by utilizing not only the senses of taste, touch, smell, and sight is what distinguishes Black Elephant Vintners from the others

Visit Irma Stern Museum

The Irma Stern Museum turns 50 this year and in honour of its half centenary, the museum is hosting a series of exhibitions and events throughout the year. Visit the permanent exhibitions, stroll through the garden or check out what special exhibitions are being showcased.
The museum offers a range of tours: Pop by any time for a walk-in tour (no extra charge), or book for a kids’ or school tour, which will be conducted by an education facilitator. Or you can book a private tour of the museum tailored to your specific interests

Paint at the Clay Cafe

Bring your friends along at Clay Café in the city, it is perfect for letting your hair down, getting creative, freeing your creative spirit, and showing off your artistic side and having some fun.
The Clay Café boasts a beautiful large open patio with outside tables overlooking a luscious garden. They also have a veggie garden, their own African chic boutique, and a wonderful restaurant serving delicious meals throughout the day.

Muizenberg Flea Market
Rain or shine, there market always goes on. Make sure you have fun at the Muizenberg Flea Market, which has been in existence for the last 34 years. It has over 300 stalls that sell everything from Cape Malay food and mielies in a cup to underwear and brass decor. And best part of all, you always leave with a bargain when you visit this Sunday market.
