The Canal Walk Gin Fest

Enjoy the first sip of spring at the inaugural Canal Walk Gin Fest September 6 and 7, 2019. The festival will host a number of experience areas from some of the best gin brands in the country under one roof alongside live entertainment from South Africa’s local musical talent and DJ’s to give you a true festive feel.

The Canal Walk Gin Fest for the first time will take place over two days. Leading gin brands in SA, will showcase their infusions to gin enthusiasts. The festival is designed to provide an intimate and fun atmosphere where guests are offered the chance to discover their new favourite gins and to enjoy the established classics.

Vanessa Herbst, Marketing Manager at Canal Walk Shopping Centre shares her excitement for the first event of its kind, “We are excited to host the first gin festival in a shopping centre and we think it’s the perfect way to welcome spring”.

Following the steady gin craze that has been rising over the last couple of years, spring is the best time to indulge and celebrate the best in the business and savour the fragrances from the delicious drinks. With Cape Town’s endless variety of gin and the versatility that gin brings, it will be difficult to skip any gin celebration.
