Satisfy your hunger for adventure and head out to the country on the scenic Route62. Explore the abundance of history and authentic wine experiences at the Robertson Wine Valley’s eleventh annual Slow Food & Wine Festival. The Slow festival takes place from 3-5 August 2018 at various wineries and tourism establishments.

Celebrate the unique food and wine offerings and rediscover the romance and magic of wintertime. Warm up in front of the fireplace with red wines and indulge your taste buds with hearty country cuisine using local produce.  dabble in diverse food traditions from vetkoek, curries and waterblommetjie soup to seafood paella, chinese duck and ostrich and kudu inspired dishes. From fine dining and gourmet offerings to farm style platters and picnics.

Explore wine farms with underground cellar tours, game drives, horse rides and boat cruises. This year’s festival also offers a wide variety of tasting opportunities from single vineyard and vertical tastings, to brandy pairings, tutored Méthode Cap Classique master classes and food and wine pairings.

Browse, shop, taste and enjoy great offerings at the popular family regional market on Sunday, 5 August. Local wine, produce, arts, food, music and children’s activities will be on offer. Entry to the market is free.
