The Two Oceans Aquarium will host a very special night of inspiration and motivation on 31 July 2018. It is going to be all about single-use plastic and the amazing people who are doing something about it. After a full month of awareness-raising for Plastic Free July, this will be the ideal time to come together and engage with the issues and solutions to plastic pollution in the ocean.

Speakers have been invited from various sectors – beach cleanups, recycling, up-cycling and will share their expertise and passion on stage at the I&J Ocean Exhibit. The event will take the form of individual presentations followed by a panel discussion and will cover sectors like education, community, corporate, sports, alternatives, and more.

If you want to learn more about the complexities of plastic, find out what’s happening in Cape Town and surrounds to stem the tide of plastic entering the ocean, and network with like-minded souls who are on a mission to contribute to a better world, then don’t miss out on this one of a kind experience.
