Astronomy Outreach at the Waterfront

October 5 is International Observe the Moon Night, and the Waterfront is celebrating by providing you and your family the chance to witness a sky full off stars up close.

Between 3pm and 9:30pm on October 5, you can observe the Sun, Moon and other heavenly bodies at the V&A Waterfront’s Pierhead Deck. Observe the treasures of the sky through an array of telescopes provided by the Cape Centre of the Astronomical Society of Southern Africa.

This event is free for all to attend.
