The Mama City Improv Festival – the first and only International improv comedy festival on the African continent – Is on in 2018!
From 31 October to 4 November, improv comedians will be flocking to the Magnet Theatre in Observatory for 4 nights and 5 days of side-splitting IMPROV COMEDY performances.
Players from Canada, USA, Argentina and Spain, together with troupes from Joburg and Cape Town, with a sprinkling of international players from all over Europe will team up to perform this made-up-on-the-spot style of comedy.
Shows are 7, 9 and 11 PM at the Magnet Theatre at 142 Lower Main Rd in Observatory.
Troupes performing include The Lusty Mannequins, Champagne Boyfriend, The Long Shots, ImproGuise, The 2nd Liners, and the Mmankokosana Playback Theatre.
MamaCityIF has been busting at the seams over the last two years with popularity, selling out shows and courses.
