The Cape Town Comedy Club, one of the best comedy clubs in the world, is pleased to announce a long weekend packed with belly-aching laughter. Comedy-lovers are invited to join in on the upcoming fun and enjoy some of South Africa’s most hilarious comedians. Round up your family and friends for dinner, drinks and a laugh over March 20 – 24.
The event welcomes Tats Knonzo from Johannesburg as the headline act, with Jem Atkins from Durban as the MC. An impressive lineup of comedians are ready to take the stage and this comical feast is not to be missed.
Guests are politely reminded that the seating arrangements are handled by Cape Town Comedy Club and very often patrons have to share tables – “Share the laugh, share the table”. The club itself is nestled in a cozy corner at the V&A Waterfront.
The location hosts a full restaurant and bar, with a Halaal-friendly kitchen. Guests are guaranteed to stay refreshed with You Ma Se Brew craft beer on site and R18 tequila shots are sure to get the good vibes flowing. Happy Hour is from 6 – 7pm, the shows start at 8.30pm and dinner is from 6pm.
Tickets are priced at R95 on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s and are R120 on Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sundays. Tickets are half price (R60) on selected Sundays. These are available for purchase at

from any Shoprite, Checkers stores. There is an age restriction of 18 years on all shows – language and prejudice. Guests are cautioned that comedians are not censored and some material might not be appropriate for sensitive audiences.
