L’Ormarins Queen Plate Racing Festival

One of the oldest horse racing events returns for its 159th renewal, with all the grandeur you’re expecting and more. On January 10 and 11, 2020, the L’Ormarins Queen Plate Racing Festival is back once again.

January 10: ‘Fabulous Fridays’ boasts an exclusive LQP Garden Party, free flowing bubbles, a harvest table lunch and live jazz. An eight strong race-card, featuring the exciting Gr. 2 Sceptre Stakes. There will also be the hositality option of The Somerset Room

January 11: ‘Scintillating Saturday’ shows off The Style Village. Here you can enjoy the horseracing with a ten strong undercard, which includes Paddock Stakes and three additional graded races for unstoppable equestrian entertainment. You can experience the finest hospitality, local food vendors, and the race for the R1.5 million purse.

All of this ends with the famous L’Ormarins Queen Plate after party.
