Soft, sensational and sure to enthral…Alpacas. Join Manor House Alpacas in celebration of National Alpaca Day this April. Guests are invited to experience the beauty and mystery of these unique and adorable creatures at this one-of-a-kind farm.

On Saturday April 27 only, visitors can enjoy Alpaca Barn Tours every hour on the hour, from 10am to 6pm. Learn all about these fascinating furry friends on a day filled fun and feeding. Whether it be you or the alpacas, the farm offers some delectable snacks to keep all tummies satisfied. Grab some grain to feed the alpacas or visit the onsite cafe’ for a cup of freshly brewed coffee and tasty treats.

This animal haven also ethically sources alpaca fibers which are put to good use at the weaving studio in the coffee shop. Watch talented craftsmen and craftswomen transform these materials into the most beautiful handmade alpaca-wool products. These clean and inquisitive creatures are low maintenance and offer an annual clip for the softest fleece.

Surrounded by a bounty of papular wine farms, this fluffy niche becomes the perfect opportunity to take friends and family out for a fulfilled day.

Entrance to The Alpaca Loom Coffee Shop and Weaving Studio as well as the petting zoo with the jungle gym is free. Alpaca Barn Tours cost R60 for adults, R40 for children and pensioners. Children under three enter for free.
