On Saturday, 3 November The Rainbow Academy will be hosting their fourth annual gala dinner fundraiser at The President Hotel, Bantry Bay and invite you to celebrate nine years of empowering youth.

The evening will be filled with glitz, glamour, music from the roaring 1920s, dancing and fantastic entertainment by the students.

The Rainbow Academy is a registered, non-for-profit, School of Performing Arts and Business, that provides a one-year qualification and employment programme for talented youth, aged 18-25, from underprivileged communities in the Western Cape. The academy has been in operation since June 2010 and has mobilised over 400 scholarships, internships, jobs, mentorships and numerous success stories.

Guests will be treated to bubbly and cocktails on arrival, followed by a four-course dinner by renowned chef, Philip Alcock, accompanied by fine wines. The evening will consist of fantastic items which will be on auction, amazing raffle prizes to be won, special celebrity guests and of course prizes for the best-dressed male and female – ending the night off with a night cap. Tickets are R1 500 per person and R13 500 for a table of ten.
