The Upper Bree Street Market on First Thursdays

The Upper Bree Street Market, hosted by The Station on Bree, is now well into its second season and steamrolling ahead. Every First Thursday from November until April, the restaurant closes the road from Buiten to Orphan Street, and welcomes families and friends to socialise outdoors against the backdrop of Table Mountain.

Market nights have drawn in the masses, providing an experience that is totally local and lekker. Visitors can purchase arts and crafts, eats and other items by South African vendors.

When the sun goes down, the party begins. With a dancefloor and live entertainment, the fun is sure to be non-stop. The event starts at 6pm with live entertainment on the street, thereafter festivities carry on indoors.

The remaining dates for the Upper Bree Street Market are: February 6, March 5 and April 2.
