The Winelands Autumn Expo is in full swing – with exhibitors from as far as Oudtshoorn, Tulbagh and Constantia.

Dr Elna von Schlicht, Mayor of the Winelands District Municipality (CWDM), opened the ceremony with a bottle of champagne:
This is the first Winelands Autumn Expo in the Cape Winelands. Von Schlicht says the event’s goal is to uplift communities and create a space where entrepreneurs can exhibit their products to the public.

Tonight’s live entertainment lineup includes the Marimba Band, Michael Meiring, Emo Adams, Heuwels Fantasies and Loufi.
Tomorrow, visitors can look forward to performances by DJ TBC, Forest Musician, Loufi, Eddy Strings, Jeodhouse and Tarryn Lamb.

Visitors are welcome to browse a selection of products, from camping to jewellery to tasty treats, and even sample some of the best wines, craft beers and spirits in the region.
Kids can also get up close at personal with the CWDM Incident Command Centre’s Fire Rescue services:
Visitors stand a chance to win incredible prizes as well, including one of two unforgettable Winelands Weekend getaways. Spot prizes will also be awarded throughout the event.
