As snow fell across the South Africa on Monday, celebrity chef Siba Mtongana and her family got to experience snow for the very first time. The family was on vacation at Aquila Private Game Reserve, on of the province’s premier game reserves, when the snow fell.
Siba said that the already magical family holiday turned out to be surreal, and of course she had to taste the snow!
The curious foodie in me has always been curious on how snow actually taste like… today that curiosity was satisfied… the funny thing about snow is it always unleashes the child in you no matter what age… you simply can’t ignore it especially that it’s rare on our side of the world.. it’s just magical!! My lil ones were over the moon!! ✨♥⛄ ⛄⛄⛄❄❄???? #holiday #snow #familyroadtrip #gamereserve #familyholiday #winter #schoolholidays #TheMtonganas #weekendvibes #pricelessmoments #travels #traveller #instatravels #nature #blessings #familytime

Yesterday, was the first snow witnessed on the reserve in ten years, and it had all the guests, staff and rangers out playing outside like children in the falling snow, while the animals were intrigued and playful too! ❄ https://t.co/CYikw4SJcs #Snow pic.twitter.com/y2TBJbmmWK
