Blaawklippen’s outdoor Family Market opens each Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm with a seasonal focus and a strong emphasis on local, organic and sustainable food, produce and goods. There are more than 20 vendors selling a variety of goods, and we’re sharing a few to give you a taste of what to expect:
The Shwarma Zone
Stop by the Shwarma Zone for an authentic Mediterranean taste. Be treated to a chicken shwarma, a mixed lamb and steak shwarma, and a vegetarian falafel pita. Say goodbye to dry shwarmas and enjoy the juicy shwarma from the Shwarma Zone.
Piroschka’s Flammkuchen
Inspired by the Cape’s fiery spices paired with Hungarian and German dishes, as well as fresh fish and exquisite meat, Piroschka’s Kitchen offers a unique infusion of German, Hungarian, Swiss, Austrian and South African cuisine. Besides Flammkuchen, they also sell homemade soups and stews, and homemade organic ice tea with lemon, vanilla and lime, amongst others.
MallowSnaps
MallowSnaps are best described as “A decadently flavoured mallow mousse encased in an irresistible chocolate snap”.
The handcrafted MallowSnaps come in a medley of flavours and are made from the finest Belgian chocolate and homestyle mousse. The unique mallow mousse is also used in a variety of other products such as their Rocky Road and Mallougat.
The mallow is also strictly gelatine-free which has put a smile on the faces of vegetarians across the peninsula.

ZNZ is a proudly South African brand with a passion for quality handcrafted goods.
