Easter is a time that symbolises new life, and the Animal Welfare Society (AWS) is launching an Easter weekend “adoption eggstravaganza” to celebrate.

“Our team ensures that all pets undergo health and behaviour assessments to be sure they’re suitable for adoption. Your new pet would also be sterilised, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped before they leave our care,” AWS says. “You are invited to our Easter weekend “Adoption Eggstravaganza” and free match-making by Christine Leonard our Adoption Centre Manager and Lawrence Nkotha our Assistant Adoptions Officer.”

The Easter long weekend is the perfect time to pay a visit to AWS’s Phillipi clinic to adopt a new family member.

Christine and Lawrence spend a considerable amount of their day interacting with all of the animals and know each and every one of them as though they were their own – and are guaranteed to find you a perfect match.

Contact the centre on 021 692 2626 or via their email address [email protected], or better still, pay a visit to the centre to see all of the wonderful animals available for adoption.
