The release of Beyonce’s BREAK MY SOUL, a snippet of her latest album Renaissance had Queen B’s army of fans stepping into an era – empowerment. The hit single dominated charts expeditiously and left fans of the Queen stepping into their main character moments.
If you want to feel the part, dressing like it never hurt. For those in need of more Beyoncé magic, IVY PARK and adidas’ latest collab might just do the trick.

The latest collaborative collection is titled IVYTOPIA, created around the concept of discovering one’s own nirvana representing a refreshing take on fashion that daydreams.

IVYTOPIA expresses itself as a transformative utopia, exploring the collective connections we share after emerging from a period of isolation. The clothes emulate exploring a journey with another, all in strides to reach our ultimate potential.

The collection excludes restrictions – of colour, creativity, body stereotypes or gender. Striking swimwear and a focus on one of 2022’s favourite trends, bold silhouettes, along with mystical colour palettes all stand at the ready, premised to be the dreamy companions to our next adventures.

The colours chosen are bespoke, including quartz (off white), pyrite (silver), lapis lazuli (shock cyan), hawk’s eye (khaki) and jasper (solar yellow) along with crystal and floral-inspired print.
The collection blends natural and organic elements with futuristic details and shapes, using a design language that gives the feeling of another world.

Textiles like printed power mesh, metallic spandex, stretch twills, and French terry speak to IVY PARK’s love of athleticism and fashion. The bold crystal prints further illustrate a feel of serenity and ethereal beauty, while a high-voltage colour palette stands a reminder of the sheer vibrancy of the brand.

Whether this journey takes place on a beach, mountain range or urban oasis is up to you.

The digital release at adidas.co.za is happening on 21 July, while the release at Canal Walk Women’s and the V&A Waterfront stores on 22 July.
