The body of a woman was found floating in shallow waters at Macassar Beach.
Forensic experts and investigators were on the scene after police were alerted about the body at 7am on Saturday morning.

According to Western Cape police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Malcolm Pojie, the woman has yet to be identified and the body has been handed to Pathology Forensic Services.
An inquest docket has been opened for further investigation.
In speaking to News24, Macassar Community Policing Forum spokesperson Russell Williams said ‘it does not look like the person is from Macassar, but we still need a full report to confirm this’.
Williams added that an autopsy would be conducted to determine the cause of death.
