The mysterious ITHUBA Lotto winner who was struck by Lady Luck on Saturday 3 September has finally been revealed as “a Cape Town man making a living as a street vendor.”
The winner has chosen to not reveal his identity but shared that the winning ticket that made his “dream come true” was purchased from a Shoprite in Durbanville.

Confirming that the right winner came forward, ITHUBA CEO Charmaine Mabuza congratulated the new multi-millionaire. “It is encouraging to see players who still have hope and play our National Lottery Games. It is even more significant when they win our jackpots and have their dreams come true.”
The Capetonian winner is looking forward to being at leisure now and taking on motivational speaking on a full-time basis that he had been doing part-time in schools.
