This iconic occasion, marking the official start of the summer season, is set to be a spectacular evening of music, laughter and togetherness, with the theme ‘People of Hope’ taking centre stage.
The event will kick off at 4pm on the Grand Parade, where a star-studded line-up of musical acts, entertainers and comedians will bring the holiday spirit to life. Highlights of the evening include performances by hitmakers Mafikizolo, soulful singer Fagrie Isaacs, and the dynamic Candice Thornton. Also taking the stage are reggae legends Dr Victor and the Rasta Rebels, as well as electronic DJ Mörda.
The entertainment doesn’t stop there. The crowd will be treated to the high-energy sounds of 3 Tons of Fun, the musical talents of Wynand and Cheree Strydom, and the smooth harmonies of Blackbyrd.
