Cape Agulhas received more than 135mm of rain and some surrounding areas up to 200mm since last night.

According to the Cape Agulhas Municipality, flash flooding occurred in some areas. Although the rain has subsided, more rainfall is expected by tonight.
The following roads are closed:
- R319 Struisbaai Road
- R316 Arniston Road
- DR1223 Ou Plaas Road is closed till R317 Swellendam Road
- DR1219 Elim/Napier Road closed due to road damage
These roads are open:
- R317 Swellendam Road
- MR264 Bredasdorp/Swellendam Road is open. In process of clearing debris on road
- MR265 Bredasdorp/Stormsvlei Road is open but use extreme caution
- R316 Bredasdorp/Napier Road is open but use extreme caution as the road is partially flooded
The municipality advises motorists to maintain a speed limit of 20kph where water is visible on the road and cautions people to rather stay home and limit their travel.
Furthermore, two pedestrian bridges in Bredasdorp (Gold and Baadjies Street Bridge, Padiachy and Rand Street Bridge) are damaged and unstable due to water damage. The community is advised to avoid these pedestrian bridges.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) issued a Yellow Level 4 warning for severe thunderstorms on Sunday evening, which is expected to continue until 11pm tonight.

- Cederberg
- George
- Hessequa
- Kannaland
- Knysna
- Laingsburg
- Langeberg
- Mossel Bay
- Oudtshoorn
- Overstrand
- Prince Albert
- Swellendam
- Theewaterskloof
- Witzenberg
The SAWS advises that localised flooding and possibly a large amount of small hail could be expected over the Central Karoo, Garden Route, Cape Winelands and the Overberg Districts, including the eastern parts of the West Coast.
