Rosmead Avenue between the Spar Centre and Kenilworth Road has been closed due to a shooting incident that reportedly took place on the corner of Jesmond Road and Rosmead Avenue.
SAPS is currently on the scene, Cape {town} Etc reports.
According to Life EMS Emergency Medical Service personnel, the incident resulted in two fatalities, with another victim having ‘moderate injuries’.
This is not the first time an incident such as this has been reported in the area. Just last year, Rosmead Spar was subject to an armed robbery at 7am on a Monday morning.
The public has been advised to avoid the area.
