The R44 Clarence Drive has been closed until further notice due to a truck that broke down.

According to the Overstrand Municipality, the R44 Clarence Drive between Rooi-Els and Gordon’s Bay remains temporarily closed. Motorists are advised to use the N2 Sir Lowry’s pass as an alternative route.

The N2 at Grabouw has been reopened after protests blocked the road earlier this morning.
The R44 Arabella is open in both directions and flowing.
