The new social hot spot, Arcade, is a café resto-bar that you can’t miss when strolling down Cape Town’s hottest restaurant strip, Bree Street.

Arcade has been buzzing since its opening just a few weeks ago and things are looking to heat up as they now officially have their liquor licence.

Arcade is a hip, up-market spot that attracts an eclectic mix of social and professional clientèle. We’re spoiled for choice in the Cape Town CBD and can now add a new laid back venue to dine, relax and celebrate in a uniquely-designed space.

Elegant simplicity is a theme that runs throughout the business, from the enticing décor and design to the delectable food and drinks. Everything in this space is both timeless and effortlessly cool.

Arcade is a classic resto-pub – the focus is almost equally on drinks as it is on food. The menu includes pizza, designer burgers and sandwiches, salads, mixed boards for sharing as well as desserts. Drink offerings include classic and designers cocktails, shooters, and a selection of draught and bottle beer.

There is a fine and blurry line between restaurant dining, bar culture and nightlife and Arcade aims to bridge the gap for new age consumers’ mixed expectations. Catering to the prevalent trend in the global social scene, Arcade brings it all together to allow you to grab a meal, while also anticipating easing into the exciting bar vibe a bit later. Arcade offers the comfort of a local hangout, along with quick service and an awesome menu offering.

Arcade is brought to us by a couple of seasoned young restaurateurs, Marco Picone and Niki Bjorn Reschke, who have a multitude of experience between them at various establishments.

Head to Arcade to grab a snap with their super cool neon sign and find out why it’s the next big thing on Bree.
