2- The Little Pink Chef

The Little Pink Chef was started by Chef Maryke Josling, who has more than 19 years of experience in the industry. In 2009, Josling started The Little Pink Chef Cooking Studio in Durbanville, Cape Town. The Little Pink Chef specialises in a wide variety of cooking classes for all ages.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Josling was forced to move her operations online, but they remain just as fun and insightful as they would be in person. The Little Pink Chef will be hosting its next family cooking class on March 26, during which aspiring chefs will learn to whip up a Tuscan Feast, Panzanella Salad with Halloumi cheese, and Cannelloni filled with Spinach, feta and salami.

3- Ginger and Lime

Ginger and Lime, based in Fresnaye, Cape Town prides itself on teaching aspiring chefs how to create truly mouth-watering dishes. There are a number of classes on offer, including a risotto masterclass by Ivor Jones, a seafood masterclass with Kurt Hill, and a global street food masterclass with John Van Zyl, just to name a few.

Ginger and Lime has classes running each week until June, so there is more than enough time to book your spot and get to cooking!
