You can’t host a party with friends and family right now, but don’t let that get in the way of celebrating life, love and every other milestone. Great food – prepared at Nobu – and your quarantine partner are really all that you need.

Africa’s only Nobu at One&Only Cape Town is a firm favourite in the local contemporary dining scene. Months after the national lockdown, the Nobu team and world-class Chefs – headed up by well-known Head Chef Harold Hurtada – are excited to be returning to create and serve the joy of Nobu cuisine to diners in the safety and comfort of their own homes.

The sushi is beautifully presented in black boxes, so there is no need to plate it. Just dish and savour. There is no doubt why their sushi is considered among the best in Cape Town. If there is one thing Chef Hartada knows, it’s the best preparation of the freshest fish.

There could be no better way to kick-off your meal than with Edamame speckled with salted flakes. Next to the famous spinach leaf salad with parmesan and miso dressing, which is every bit as delectable as I remembered. Your home won’t compare to the luxurious surrounding of Nobu at the One&Only, but at least your tastebuds can experience the opulence.

If you live in Cape Town or surrounds (up to 20kms), you can order lunch and dinner, as well as a selection of non-alcoholic beverages from Wednesday to Sunday, between 12pm – 7pm. Orders may be placed either via Dineplan, Whatsapp (+27 60 564 0820) or at the Resort. Diners can choose to either have their order delivered to them, or collect it.

Deliveries will be done by the Nobu team themselves – ensuring an efficient, safe and personal service that is underpinned by globally advised health & safety protocols, as well as Nobu integrity. Delivery fees will charged, depending on distance.

The concise menu has been tailored to include a selection of Nobu favourites – sushi, salads and hot dishes as well as bento boxes. Nobu is known for its exceptional quality, unique ingredients and flavour combinations, and impeccable service – which Nobu at Home will parallel and augment. A beverage menu is also available, offering non-alcoholic items such as soft drinks and mocktails.

From a virtual sushi date with the girls to a birthday or anniversary celebration, Nobu at Home aims to deliver elegant home-dining experiences to be shared with friends and loved ones from the safety and comfort of their respective homes.
