The Refugee Food festival, which is all about celebrating unique cultures through sharing food, is being hosted for the first time in Cape Town. Previously hosted in Europe, it’s the Mother City’s turn to shine on the global culinary scene. The festival kicks off on 19 – 26 June 2018.

Its roots from the Found Sweet Food Association which is  is aimed at uplifting perceptions of refugees and giving the meaning of food a new experience. Over 90 chefs from 25 different countries showcase their culinary skills from Cape Town to Montreal. The event will take place across Cape Town and will host an array of African traditional dishes, Middle Eastern and European dishes.

Cuisine: Three coursAfrican fusion, a mix of Angolan and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is pairing of two flavours that are bound to set your tastebuds alive.
