Expect gorgeous views, superb wines and a delicious summer-inspired menu when you next visit the Terra del Capo Antipasto Bar.

The chefs at the Terra del Capo Antipasti Bar have carefully created a menu to entice indulgence. The menu consists of a variety of dishes bursting with the colours, flavours and textures of summer in the Winelands. Choose from a variety of hot or cold antipasti and a range of platters that are ideal for sharing.

The hot options include crunchy zucchini fries with aïoli; fresh mussels served in a creamy garlic and Pinot Grigio sauce; and prawn arancini (prawn-stuffed risotto balls served with lemon aïoli). The Italian meatballs filled with ricotta, oregano and smoked paprika, served with a marinara sauce should not be missed.

If the weather is too warm for hot food, there is a delicious selection of cold dishes for you to enjoy. These include burrata (homemade fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream), which comes with lemon, olive oil marinated fennel, mint and ciabatta crisps; and a zingy strawberry Caprese salad with estate-grown strawberries. The Tuscan-style steak tartare is to-die-for and the beetroot cured salmon with pickled red onion, capers and crème fraîche is a fragrant delight.

All herbs and vegetables are organic and locally produced. Extra virgin olive oil and honey are produced on the Estate.

Peruse the full menu to whet your taste buds further.

Sit inside and appreciate the view of the cellar’s bottling line, or for a more relaxed summer experience, sit outside under the olive trees and enjoy the warm weather.

You could make a day of it and improve your knowledge of wine by attending a tutored wine tasting in the beautiful setting.
