Located on Park Road, Vine and Dandy has become a favourite among locals for its deliciously fresh pastries, including mini banana breads, brioche sausage rolls and buttery croissants.
Their toasted sandwiches, like salami with cheese and caramelised onion, are a hit too.
Of course there’s great coffee, but if you’re looking for something different, consider one of their invigorating pressed juices.
Options like the Hangover Healer – packed with turmeric, ginger, garlic, lemon, apple, cayenne pepper, and orange – or the Greens and Grin, with apple, cucumber, celery, kale, spinach, and lemon, offer a refreshing twist.
Plus, it’s a dog-friendly spot, so feel free to bring your furry friend along.
From Tuesdays to Saturdays at 3pm, Vine and Dandy transforms into a chic wine bar adorned with art, greenery and wooden furniture.
Inside, a wooden shelf showcases small local wine brands like Cape Collective and Vinehugger.
The space also hosts events, including pop-ups celebrating black local artists and small businesses.
On the first Thursday of each month, Vine and Dandy hosts live music from local performers.
Enjoy the tunes on their outdoor seating while savouring fine wine.
Recently, they’ve enhanced the experience by pairing these live sessions with curated wine tastings.
