‘Sailed out to sea today and of course the superyacht Salt continues to steal the show,’ an Instagram user wrote.
SALT was built by Italian shipyard CRN and launched in 2020. The yacht measures about 62 metres and can host up to 12 guests across six cabins. It has a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and several decks with a sun deck pool and Jacuzzi. Vessel data and specs are listed by industry outlets.

According to The South African, the yacht changed hands recently and is worth about R1.2 billion. The new owner has not been publicly named. Photos show SALT at the dock for several weeks. The arrival follows predictions that Cape Town will see more superyacht traffic as the city expands marina facilities .
Visitors said the sight felt special. ‘It was amazing to see it up close,’ one local posted.
