According to @jodi_dee TikTok video she explains that, two weeks before the ceremony, ‘our wedding planner ran away with our payment of R55 000′.

Experts and consumer bodies urge anyone who suspects fraud to act quickly. Report suspected theft to the South African Police Service and get a case number, the government advises.
Victims should also contact fraud-prevention bodies such as the Southern African Fraud Prevention Service (SAFPS) and notify their bank to check for recoverable payments.
