Cape Town will welcome hospitality professionals from across the continent when the Hotel & Hospitality Expo Africa returns to the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 10 to 12 June 2026.

The three-day trade event connects suppliers with buyers across the hospitality sector, including hotels, restaurants, bars and foodservice businesses looking to source new products and services.
Industry growth continues to support demand for events like this. Africa’s hotel development pipeline now includes more than 577 hotels and over 104 000 rooms, while South Africa’s hospitality sector continues to attract investment through development projects, refurbishments and operational upgrades.
Organisers say theHotel & Hospitality Expo Africa is designed to support practical procurement decisions for businesses operating in a competitive hospitality landscape.
‘South Africa-led procurement is the lifeblood of our hospitality sector’s growth,’ said Margaret Peters, Event Director of the show. ‘This expo is designed to support that demand by bringing buyers and suppliers together in a focused sourcing environment.’
The event expects to attract more than 5000 trade visitors and over 150 exhibitors eager to connect and explore partnerships.
Insurance company Santam is supporting the event and will host workshops and networking opportunities during the programme.
‘Engaging with events like this helps us connect with partners in the industry and gives us an opportunity to really listen to our partners and understand where the needs are,’ said Zurina Rinquest.
The expo will also run alongside the Africa Food Show, creating a broader platform linking hospitality operators with food and beverage suppliers.
