An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with the murder of two women and a 13-year-old boy, who were found dead in a house in the Cape Town suburb of Bishop Lavis on the morning of Wednesday, 14 December.

As reported by News24, Western Cape police spokesperson Colonel Andrè Traut confirmed that the suspect is related to the three victims.
The 18-year-old was found at the scene, but the motive for the attack remains unclear, according to Traut.
He added that if charged, the suspect will be expected to appear in Bishop Lavis Magistrate’s Court on three charges of murder.
