A protest has been stagged for Friday following an attack on a Kasselsvlei Comprehensive High School pupil.

The Grade 9 pupil was attacked and rapped on her way to school on 12 September.
Pupils have come out in protest highlighting safety concerns resulting in the Bellville South residents rallying behind them.
According to eNCA “Those who must walk to school are demanding action from police and the community”.
The march against gender-based violence will take place between 7.15am to 8.15am at the school.
SAPS’ Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is investigating the attack.
Community leaders – ward counsellors and the Community Policing Forum urge the residents against vigilantism and encourage them to work with authorities.
A suspect has been arrested and is in police custody.
Western Cape Education MEC David Maynier has urged anyone with information to contact the police.
