Basani and her friend Clement Manyathela were hand-picked out of a crowd of 80 000 people to join the ‘Hello’ singer on stage.
She selected the pair to join her as she noticed them having the time of their lives in front of the crowd.

Though Adele initially only called Basani to the stage, she motioned for her friend to join as it was his birthday.
Clement Manyathela is a well-known radio personality, featuring on both ‘Radio 702’ and ‘Cape Talk,’ reports the DailyVoice.

‘You guys are just being such a vibe’ the singer commented as the pair walked onto the stage.
Following light-hearted quips and banter, the singer took a selfie with the duo and proceeded to provide one of them with signed merchandise.
As they left the stage, Basani commented, ‘You have to come to South Africa again,’ to which Adele responded, ‘I will, I love South Africa.’
‘I can’t believe you guys flew 16 hours, what a gift,’ said the singer as the two headed back into the crowd.
