Air France will resume its seasonal service from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Cape Town International Airport. Three weekly flights will be introduced starting today. An additional trip is also slated to be added in November, just in time for the holiday high season, Cape {town} Etc reports.

The Boeing Dreamliner 787-900 flights will operate on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This is in addition to Air France’s existing daily flights from Paris to Johannesburg.
According to Tourism Update, the airline said in a press statement that flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Cape Town International Airport were introduced to meet high demand from both business and leisure travellers.
‘We are thrilled to bring back our seasonal Paris-Cape Town service, providing South African travellers with more flexibility and convenience, especially as the holiday season approaches,’ said Wilson Tauro, Country Manager: Southern Africa at Air France-KLM.

Tauro further stated that the direct connection between Cape Town and Paris expands travel opportunities and fosters ties between the two countries. This allows visitors to discover and experience the finest that both countries have to offer.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines also recently announced an improved winter schedule that will run from 27 October to 30 March 30, 2025, catering to both business and leisure passengers and offering the option to visit 220 cities globally.
As the festive season approaches, travellers between the United Kingdom and Cape Town were given further options after Norse Atlantic Airways announced new seasonal flights between London Gatwick and the Mother City.
