This is the second bus driver to be involved in a shooting incident after a bus driver was shot through the mouth earlier this month, which resulted in Golden Arrow limiting their services to certain routes in Cape Town.
Meanwhile, MEC for Transport and Public Works, Daylin Mitchell, has closed the taxi routes between Bellville and Paarl on Friday, July 23, after members belonging to the CATA and CODETA taxi associations could not agree on Route B97, which is currently the main cause of the taxi violence in the Western Cape.
