Get your swimsuit ready and break out the surfboard; the Mother City is due some warm weather that will be prefect for taking to the beach.

From October 9 to October 12 2019, Cape Town will have mild temperatures with overcast conditions but as of Saturday October 13, temperatures are expected to increase again.

It’s going to be a sunny Sunday, bringing locals a high of 24°C and a low of 13°C for the day. The warm weather won’t stop there as Monday is expected to offer a high of 21°C with Tuesday bringing similar temperatures, with a high of 22°C.

Wednesday will be the hottest day Capetonians have experienced in a while, bringing the city a high of 27°C and a low of 16°C.  Higher temperatures are on the cards for more inland areas.

Ahead of the warmer weather, Cape Town’s dam levels have been hovering at the 81% mark.

As of October 8, 2019, overall dam levels are at 81.1% and are expected to decrease with the heat.
