A Zimbabwean man was arrested today in connection to a body found in a shallow grave in a Noordhoek garden, reports False Bay Echo.
According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Peter Middleton, the body was found on Friday.
Warrant Officer Middleton detailed that police went to the location after the property owner, Pierre Bretonnes (a French National), was reported missing by one of his staff members. He’s been missing since Thursday.
The body is yet to be identified.
The suspect, believed to be an employee of Mr Bretonnes, will appear in the Simon’s Town Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 3 October. He was also in possession of stolen property belonging to Mr Bretonnes.
