Boulders Penguin Colony in Simon’s Town reached its maximum carrying capacity on Sunday morning [December 20] and is closed to the public until further notice.
The beach will be reopened to the public by South African National Parks once sufficient space for the public to visit safely is available.
SANParks limits the number of visitors to the Colony so that guests can enjoy the outdoors while maintaining a safe distance.
