Travellers have one more thing to be excited about after British Airways announced that it has resumed flights from Cape Town to London from November 3, 2021.
According to the airline, it will be starting with three flights a week, and will then increase to daily flights from November 13.
From December 10, British Airways will double flights daily.
British Airways told customers that they have introduced several measures at the airport and on board to safeguard the wellbeing of customers and staff.
This includes social distancing, the wearing of face masks and hand sanitiser stations.
Acting British High Commissioner to South Africa Adam Bye said: “The UK and South Africa have a strong relationship and we look forward to seeing families reunited, welcoming British tourists in South Africa for the summer, and businesses coming together.”
