Hassiem’s brother Taariq told the Weekend Argus that Achmat’s vitals are currently stable, however, it could change day by day.
” He is battling with an infection. Once the infection is gone and his vitals are more stable he will move to rehabilitation, provided he doesn’t pick up a bug or another infection after they evaluate him,” Taariq was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, the family have started a crowdfunding campaign for Hassiem and said that they have been inundated with prayers and messages of hope. To assist the family by contributing towards Hassiem’s rehabilitation, email: [email protected].
